There were some fantastic performances this past weekend for several members of the Migonis Multisport team. On Sunday Jamie Campbell finished in second place overall at the Keuka Lake Duathlon coming across the line in 1:16:51.  Teammates Ryan Meek and Brandi Brown competed in the Keuka Lake Olympic Distance Triathlon and finished with great times and results.  Ryan was 29th overall and sixth in his age-group breaking the tape in 2:32:39 and Brandi was the fifth overall female and took home first in her age-group coming through the finish in 2:40:36.  It was Brandi’s first triathlon in nearly two years after having her daughter, which makes her age-group win even more impressive.  Matt Ryan battled less than ideal conditions in Kansas to come across the line in 57th place out of nearly 500 participants in the Legend Free State Triathlon.  The weather was hot, humid and windy too, which made for a tough day.

Great job everyone on some great performances!!! www.trifind.com/re_164996/KeukaLakeTriathlon.html, http://www.legendendurance.com/index.html

This weekend will be another busy one as many athletes will be either racing or spending the weekend training on the Ironman Lake Placid course.  Travis Glazier, Jamie Campbell, and Joan Kane will be racing at the Green Lakes Triathlon in Fayetteville, NY on Saturday morning.  Ryan Meek, Emily Zipprich, Matt Ryan, Nick Tucci and Matt Migonis will be spending three long days in Lake Placid logging some big miles on the Ironman course. The weather looks a little warmer this week but the chance of rain in both parts of NY could make for some interesting training and racing.  Good luck everyone!
