Several Migonis Multisport athletes competed this weekend in two different short course triathlon races.  Brandi Brown, Dana Cooreman and Beth Lance all competed at the Keuka Lake Triathlon in Keuka, NY.  The Keuka Lake Triathlon is one of the more popular multisport events on the New York racing calendar as it provides a great early season test for all athletes competing.  The very rough waters and humid conditions out on the course made the day a real challenge.  Although the conditions weren’t ideal, it still was a chance for Brandi, Dana and Beth to test their fitness against some very solid competition.  In the intermediate distance race Brandi led the way with a 4th overall female finish and age-group win in the women’s 35-39 age-group crossing the line in 2:41:30.  Dana also came away with an age-group win breaking the tape as the 12th overall female and 1st in the women’s 30-34 age-group in a time of 3:05:55.  In the sprint race, Beth also made the podium with a third place finish in the women’s 45-49 age-group, which was also good enough for 20th overall female coming across the line in 1:35:58.  Great job ladies!!! http://www.score-this.com/

Also competing today was Kona bound Mike Espejo.  Mike took home the overall win at the Worchester Tri Fest sprint triathlon crossing the line in 54:27.  This was Mike’s first triathlon win of the season and served as a good indicator that he’s in great shape.  Nice work Mike!!!  https://app.racereach.com/r/worcester-tri-fest/detailsBeth Keuka Brandi Keuka Dana Keuka Mike Worchester
