I’ve been on a lot of hard runs the past 20 years. Some were hard because of the intensity and others were hard due to the terrain. Until I ran last Sunday with my 6 month old son I thought I was pretty tough. I realized about 6 miles into the 12 mile run that pushing a baby stroller in 95 degree heat can really make you feel slow and pittiful. While it’s not a great workout for speed it is a pretty good workout for strength. I just feel bad for my wife as I cover the handlebars and rear storage bag with sweat.
